Quest Title: The Oldest GameAvailability: Apprentice Rating
Description: Challenge the Watcher Beyond the Veil in a test of wits and word-play in The Oldest Game (yes, this is the same as its namesake from Neil Geiman's, The Sandman). The Oldest Game plays relatively simply; the first person starts with an "I am a" statement followed by stating what they are, then a general, 4 word statement or pair of phrases about what said thing does. The first player must always start with something small, such as a hare, mouse, bug, blade of grass, etc. The second player then follows with a similar statement, but theirs must be one that can trump what the other person stated, building upon its size, but not by an exponential amount. Then, play goes back to the first person, where this process just repeats and builds upon itself until one person gets stumped by the other. Due to the mysterious and mystical nature of The Veil, these things take an illusory form within the Arena. 'Damage' dealt by one, while it may feel real and substantial, is all simply still an illusion.
